 FAQ’S + HAIRCARE

  • Extensions consultations are required at Main Muse Salon. Your stylist will find the perfect match for your hair depending on your goals and needs.

  • We offer two different installation methods: sew-in and beaded.

    The sew-in method consists of the extensions sewn-in into your natural hair in a way that makes them invisible and offers a flawless, natural look.

    The beaded-weft method consists of fastening tiny silicone-lined beads your natural hair. The beads are then clamped to the natural hair to secure the extension, as opposed to other methods that utilize glue, heat, or chemicals from adhesive.

    At your consultation, your stylist will determine which method is best for you depending on your hair goals.

    • Brush your hair using soft bristle brushes, and do so throughout the day to minimize breakage and tangles.

    • Avoid prolonged sun exposure, chlorine and saltwater.

    • Use hydrating products such as leave-in conditioners and hair masks.

    • Avoid going to bed with wet hair. Make sure to brush, detangle and secure your hair gently when sleeping.

    • Shield your hair extensions from harmful UV rays.

    • Bring hair oil for your extensions.

    • Protect your hair extensions from chemicals.

    • Properly wear your hair extensions when swimming.

    • Avoid brushing your hair extensions when wet.

Scheduling this service requires a consultation to ensure we order the correct color, length, and type of extensions.

REFUND POLICY

Due to the nature of our product, and federal health regulations, all of our hair extensions are final sale. We do not offer refunds on any hair extension purchases. If you believe that you have received defective merchandise, please contact us immediately. We will NOT allow an exchange if the item has ANY signs of being worn. Hair cannot be brushed, washed, fingered through, combed, cut, or taken out of the bundle.
